El Camino Earns Visionary Impact Award

We are humbled and incredibly excited to share that El Camino Skate Shop has been selected as the winner of the Visionary Impact Award, proudly sponsored by Northwestern Bank and DECI.

For us, this is more than just an award; it’s a recognition of the culture we’ve been striving to build since day one. When we opened our doors in Eau Claire, our goal was simple: to create a space where skaters, dreamers, and creatives could find not just the gear they need, but a sense of belonging. To be acknowledged for having a “visionary impact” in the community we love so much is truly an honor.

The Visionary Impact Award was established to celebrate local businesses that go beyond the bottom line—organizations that push boundaries, support the local economy, and bring innovative ideas to the table. Being chosen by Northwestern Bank and DECI validates what we’ve always believed: that skateboarding is a powerful force for good. It teaches resilience, fosters community, and provides an outlet for self-expression.
